Bob Sadler, Principal, Results Technology (Restech) While taking a degree in Administrative and Commercial Studies at the University of Western Ontario, Bob became aware of and joined Sacda, Inc. (Systems Analysis, Control and Design Activities). This university engineering initiative, which later was acquired by Honeywell to become Hi-Spec Solutions, gave Bob a start in process simulation development, application, support and sales. Bob continues to to expand his experience and knowledge in most facets of process control in oil&gas, chemicals, pulp&paper, mining&minerals, power and utilities. One of Bob's main interests is to find innovative ways to harmonize an industrial site's processing activities with the neighbouring environment and agricultural operations.

Cliff Pederson, Principal, Pedersen Enterprises, Inc. (PeXI) Cliff co-pinoneered multivariable constrained supervisory control at Imperial Oil. It was a breakthough in applying digital computers to online advanced control of refinery process unit operations. At Shell Canada, Cliff installed their first computer control system to establish their standard process control an optimization platform for all sites. Suncor Energy hired Cliff to found advanced process control and optimization technologies along with Knowledge Networks in advanced control, control systems, production execution, field devices and electrical systems - innovative cross functional teams of expert resources.
